We welcome all donations in any amount!

The Music of the Spheres Society, Inc. is incorporated as a non-profit organization and has 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status.

Unless restricted, all donations to Music of the Spheres aid in underwriting concert production expenses and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Typical per-concert expenses include artist fees, concert hall rentals, piano rentals and tunings, music purchases or rentals, and mailing and printing costs.

A donation of $5000 sponsors one typical concert with five artists and pre-concert talk.

A donation of $1250 pays for our independent accounting audit, required by law.

A donation of $750 sponsors one artist for one concert.

A donate $250 sponsors the printing of our postcard announcements.

A donation of $200 sponsors one pre-concert speaker.

A donation of $125 sponsors one rental of the concert hall piano OR one tuning of the piano.

The Music of the Spheres Society strives to keep its ticket prices low in order to be as inclusive as possible to the community, and therefore relies on the generosity of individual donors and corporate sponsors. Levels of donation are:

Cosmos: $10,000 and higher
Galaxies: $5,000-$9,999
Supernovas: $1,000-$4,999
Constellations: $500-$999
Comets: $250-499
Stars: $125-$249
Planets: under $125

Founded in 2001, the Music of the Spheres Society, Inc. promotes and develops new audiences for classical music through innovative programs of chamber music concerts, lectures, and educational workshops that illuminate music’s historical, philosophical, and scientific foundations. These programs, which feature renowned musicians and scholars, are presented in the greater New York City area and on tours throughout the United States.
